Water Conservation & Watering Schedule

Watering schedule — English

Summer — March 2 through October 31

Permitted watering days by address, summer season
If your address ends in	You may water only on
0, 2, 4, 6, 8 (even)	Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
1, 3, 5, 7, 9 (odd)	Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday

No watering between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Watering is permitted before 7:00 a.m. and after 8:00 p.m. only.
No watering on Saturdays or Mondays.
During rain events, turn automatic sprinkler timers off or pause them.

Winter — November 1 through March 1

Watering is permitted on Saturdays only. Specific irrigation times are not enforced under Resolution No. 19-14.

Enforcement and penalties

First violation: a verbal warning.
Second violation: a written notice.
Third violation: a written notice, and all costs of enforcement incurred by the City, including overhead, billed to the customer.

Additional violations after restoration of water service may result in a fine of up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) per violation.

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program

The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program is now available through the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission. Residents who need help paying a water bill can contact City Hall at (559) 659-2043.
